Today we paid a visit to the new LEILOW shop (next door to KICKS/HI-Makaloa)! Got to meet Jules Gaytons, yes an original member of the Stussy Tribe! The shop has fresh offerings and I'm sure you can find some must have vintage goods. We LOVE Vintage, who doesn't?! Jules tells me their new LEILOW Shirt Collection is about to drop soon with tees for the Ladies! Yeaaaa!! Im a button fanatic so you know I had to cop this...

Blue Hawaii Surf's Kalihi Store Opening last night was ill, always good to see Hawaii's writers come out to support. But the highlight of the night was meeting and chatin' it up with REVOK and RETNA!! Thanks Dubs! Suuuuper cool, humble and gifted, what more can I say?! They are always on their GRIND, much respects. Susies Birthday!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sues!! How did we become best friends? Thanks to one mean 4th grade teacher I didn't want to have, I was lucky enough to be my own decision maker at the age of nine. Told my parents I'm going to a different school this year, Momilani Elementary. That's where I met my two of the four best friends, who were best friends since they were born, Melanie & Susie! The rest is history, we've know each other for over 13 years! To the birthday girl Susie, who keeps it real and shows us the true meaning of Beauty, Determination, and INDEPENDENCE!!
